Sentinel Dual (SDU) is a doubly-versatile UPS providing maximum protection to critical loads found in server rooms, electro-medical devices, IT networks and industrial applications. Install as a rackmount UPS or freestanding tower. 

Reduce your power consumption using ECO and SMART ACTIVE modes. Prioritise your most critical loads with EnergyShare sockets that enable easy load-shedding. Load-controlled fans minimise noise disruption (<48 dBA).

Available in 4-5-6-8-10 kVA power ratings, the SDU is designed to handle non-linear loads like blade servers and electro-medical devices, making it a great choice for protecting Edge applications too.

Parallel up to 3 Sentinel Duals together for greater power, autonomy, or redundancy. While extended runtime versions (6 kVA and 10 kVA models only) are available for applications needing several hours’ autonomy. Automatic and manual battery testing help enhance reliability and maximise lifespan.

 

Installation Versatility

Doubly versatile SDU operates as either a 3U rackmount UPS (6U for 8-10 kVA versions) or as a floor-standing tower. Just use the rack supports or additional handles depending on your installation environment.

Easily rotate the backlit LCD display and control panel 90 degrees to suit your preferred configuration.

 

Simple Scalability

Parallel up to 3 Sentinel Duals together to increase power, redundancy, or battery runtime. Can run multiple UPS in either capacity or N+1 parallel redundant configuration.

 

Prioritise Devices With Load Shedding

A configurable EnergyShare IEC connection socket enables you to shut down non-critical loads in the event of a mains failure, prioritising battery runtime to your most important equipment.

 

Quality Power

The SDU delivers unity power (except 4 kVA version) and 95% operating efficiency in ONLINE double conversion mode, meaning you get more real output power.

With a high overload (up to 150%) and short circuit capacity, it’s also designed to deal with non-linear loads with a crest factor up to 3:1.

 

Fantastic Functionality

Choose from a range of operating modes including ECO (efficiency of 98%) and Smart Active. Generates minimal (< 45 dBA) noise as fan speed automatically adjusts depending on the load.

Automatic and manual battery testing, with hot-swappable, user-replaceable batteries that ensures downtime-free maintenance.
