How to buy

Riello UPS are available through a number of direct and indirect channels dependent upon the UPS size and level of project management and investment required to achieve a clean-install for a client.

All sales are managed by the Riello UPS National Sales Team. The NST operates both key account and business development sales teams who are responsible for direct sales management of accounts and enquiries not put through a distribution or resale partner. The NST can arrange site surveys, project management, presentations, tender responses and general pre-sales technical support. Other sales activities include work with:

Distribution Partners - are stock holding organisations within the UK IT/Electrical channels who generally stock product up to 10 kVA for mass distribution through an ecommerce or catalogue operation. Riello UPS partners with these companies in a number of ways including joint marketing programmes, sales training, floor walks and workshops.

Value Added Resellers - are smaller organisations who sell and promote Riello UPS as part of the value added they bring to their clients. Some may purchase from a Riello UPS distribution partner.

Power Resellers- our Power Resellers are dedicated power protection resellers who offer the complete Riello UPS product range and a host of pre and post sale services. These organisations provide a complete project management service including site surveys and project management as required. All our power partners will have met the rigorous standards required to sell and install Riello UPS products. They should have Riello UPS Certified Engineers in their teams who have successfully completed courses at our UPS Academy. Once certified they are approved to work on Riello UPS installations and you can rest assured that your installation is supported by the full Riello UPS warranty.

Site surveys

Above the 5 kVA (Uninterruptible Power Supply - UPS) installation level Riello UPS always recommend a site survey. Here the site generally requires a little more thought about health and safety risk assessments, method statements, logistics and floor loadings, electrical installation, remote monitoring, environment and after care services. Below 5 kVA a survey is less usual unless there are specific installation issues e.g. a long runtime battery pack with manual handling and floor loading implications.

A site survey should be considered as an opportunity to discuss the potential installation with a Technical Energy Consultant (TEC) - a professional project and electrical engineer who can help guide you through the selection, specification and installation of the UPS and generator where applicable.

Booking Your Site Survey

In the UK we provide site surveys through our national sales team and regional power solutions partners. To book your site survey contact us on 0800 269 394. We do not charge provided the site is within reach of one of our team and access is normal working hours. A number of our TEC case studies started off with a site survey.
