Perfect Protection for Telecoms Applications - Dialog Plus UPS
Dialog Plus provides perfect power protection for Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony and Power Over The Ethernet (PoE) technologies. These applications typically require long extended runtimes, floor standing and 19" rack mount formats, a power range covering 700VA to 3kVA and remote monitoring facilities.
Matching 'Hot-Swap' Battery Packs With Reduced Installation Costs
Dialog Plus has matching battery extension packs to extend its runtime capabilities from 6 minutes to over 7 hours. Using 'hot plug and play' technology the battery packs are designed to reduce overall installation costs. The new 'ER' version of the Dialog Plus has a large internal charger. This draws its power from the UPS itself, automatically charges any connected external battery packs and removes the need for additional mains power sockets.
Remote Monitoring
Dialog Plus has a slot-in network SNMP adapter card slot and external D 9way port offering RS232 and isolator signals. For Volt-Free contacts from the Dialog Plus the Riello UPS design team have recently launched a new Multifunction IO adapter. This converts the isolator alarm signals from the UPS into high capacity true volt-free signals that can be read instantly by remote status and building management panels. The SNMP facility allows the UPS to be monitored remotely over a network using the Riello UPS software packages - PowerShield² and PowerNetGuard.

To tie into the launch of the new Dialog Plus models Riello Galatrek has also unveiled new extended warranties for its UPS from 300VA to 3kVA. The warranties cover parts, labour and any internal batteries for periods of three or five years. Covered ranges include Plug Dialog, Win Dialog, Net Dialog, Dialog Active and of course Dialog Plus. Dealing With Hazardous Waste - Make Sure You Notify The Regulator!

If your site is not on the exclusions list or you produce over 200kg of hazardous waste per year your site needs to be notified to the Regulator through The Environment Agency website.
