Riello UPS prevents the unthinkable happening - downtime. Selecting the right uninterruptible power protection for your application can be relatively straight forward but planning an installation for a complete Data Centre is another matter. A typical installation above 5kVA starts with a full UPS site survey. Riello UPS always recommend a site survey because typical projects of this size and upwards generally require a little more thought about health and safety risk assessments, method statements, logistics and floor loadings, electrical installation, maintenance and remote monitoring.
Below 5kVA a survey is less usual unless there are specific installation issues e.g. a long runtime battery pack with manual handling and floor loading implications.
A site survey should be considered as an opportunity to discuss the potential installation with our Technical Energy Consultants (TECs) - professional project and electrical engineers who can help guide you through the selection, specification and installation of your uninterruptible power supply, standby power system or generator where applicable.
