UPS Hire and Loan
Short term UPS hire is an ideal way to provide uninterruptible power protection. If the hire unit or another Riello UPS is purchased then a part credit is given for the hire charges.
HireUPS
Hiring a UPS from Riello UPS can provide your site with a short or medium term power solution. A range of uninterruptible power supplies are available including battery extension packs and other UPS accessories. A full installation and commissioning service can be supplied as required. All our installations receive free technical support and advice and are covered by the standard warranty terms for the product. This service can also be purchased through our on-line e-Store.
Where a customer decides to make an outright purchase of the uninterruptible power supply on hire, all paid sums are taken into account for a final settlement figure. All hires are against our service terms and conditions and Riello UPS may supply a new or nearly new product. For more information please contact our national sales team.
LoanUPS
The standard loan period is 30 days from receipt of the product. Longer periods may be charged for on a hire basis. Riello UPS will supply either a new or nearly new device for the trial period, and will normally request an official purchase order number from the customer.
The following conditions apply to all loans:
- Riello UPS Ltd's standard conditions for notification of damage and loss in transit must be strictly adhered to. These are detailed in the despatch documentation
- While on site the customer shall insure the goods and be responsible for their safe installation and operation
- Units can be kept 'free of charge' for up to 30 days after which there is an option to return or hire or purchase outright
- A Loan Order Acceptance Form must be completed in all instances
- If at the end of the loan period the goods are purchased an invoice will raised for the unit price, original carriage charge and VAT at the prevailing rate
- An official purchase order number is required prior to sending an invoice. If the period is extended under a hire contract an invoice shall be raised accordingly
- If at the end of the loan period the goods are returned they must be returned using the original packaging, returned at the customer's expense and clearly marked on the outer packing and documentation with a returns number issued by the Riello UPS service team. Charges will be made for the refurbishment of loan units which are returned damaged due to inadequate packaging or misuse while on loan
